SALES DESK / INSTRUMENT 05
Hear the concern.
Make the answer inspectable.
Practice a clear response to the concern the homeowner actually expressed. Keep hypothetical examples, entered reports and unanswered questions distinct.
Entries stay only in this page. Leaving or refreshing clears the record. Download JSON to keep and reopen it. No account, sync, upload or automatic save.

THE CONCERN / APPLIED PRACTICE
Listen first.
Show what you can support.
Listen without pressure. Never invent urgency, discounts, testimonials, credentials, financing or guarantees. This workbook supplies no installation instructions or legal, coverage or permit verdict. Only applied user exercise notes enter the outputs; all source records remain available.
Documented means supporting information reported by you. It does not mean HOMEFRONT verified a claim, approved an agreement or cleared work to start.
The workbook and JSON include every applied Passport record. Anyone receiving them can read the complete context. Review what you share. JSON reopens all applied source records and practice notes. TXT/copy/print include applied exercises, their educational examples and the complete Passport context. Unapplied view choices and editor drafts are excluded. Output may use several pages.

THE LEARNING DESK / PAPER ALSO WORKS
A concern is a question.
Give it room.
Listen to what the homeowner actually asks. Locate what you can support, say what remains unknown, and leave a concrete question for the person who can answer it. Begin without an import or contact details. If the app cannot start, use these paper prompts; no field can submit data.
Value & scope
Which differences explain the comparison? Put inclusions, exclusions and assumptions beside the actual written scope. A price difference needs an explanation; it is not a reason to pressure someone to decide.
Materials & disruption
Which specification or substitution is still unknown? Which room, access window or daily-life constraint needs a coordinator's answer? Don't promise an uninterrupted day or a product's suitability without a basis.
Warranties & permits
Which document and issuer address the actual coverage question? Which responsible authority can answer the project-specific approval question? Record who will check; this desk supplies neither a coverage verdict nor permission to begin.
Real trust evidence
What business role can the record or consenting reference support? If evidence is absent, say so. Never turn a hypothetical example into a project claim, testimonial or credential.
Source references checked October 13, 2026: CSLB contract checklist, FTC contractor guidance, FTC product warranties and CSLB's current HIS registration guidance and exceptions. Read the current official guidance for your actual role; this exercise establishes no license or registration.
Earlier desks remain separate: Job Passport, Appointment Prep, Production Handoff, Promise-to-Scope and Follow-Up and Rehash. Download JSON before navigating; pages do not carry your notes.
Carry the next question.
Check the official role and consumer-document starting points in California Sales Reference.
Turn the chosen question into a restrained conversation draft with Follow-Up & Rehash.
Keep hypothetical compensation assumptions separate from the homeowner conversation in Commission Scenarios.
