Model only the hypothetical compensation definitions and figures you enter. See which amounts depend on unknown terms, and keep modeled arithmetic separate from earning or payment.
Entries stay only in this page. Leaving or refreshing clears the record. Download JSON to keep and reopen it. No account, sync, upload or automatic save.

THE ASSUMPTIONS / APPLIED SCENARIOS
A modeled amount. A separate question of payment.
Use only your self-entered hypothetical definitions, figures and trigger reports. No employer rates, earnings, payroll, tax, legal compliance, entitlement or contract interpretation are supplied. No sales incentives or coercive recommendations are generated. Only applied records enter output; every Passport section is included. Review what you share.
Documented means supporting information reported by you. It does not mean HOMEFRONT verified a claim, approved an agreement or cleared work to start.
The workbook and JSON include every applied Passport record. Anyone receiving them can read the complete context. Review what you share. JSON reopens all applied source records and scenario notes. TXT/copy/print include applied assumptions, their calculations and the complete Passport context. Unapplied view choices and editor drafts are excluded. Output may use several pages.

THE ASSUMPTION SHEET / PAPER ALSO WORKS
Before the result, write the definition.
This worksheet models arithmetic; it doesn't decide whether a commission was earned or is payable. Begin without an import or contact details. If the app cannot start, write your hypothetical figures here. No field can submit data.
Which figure is the base?
Keep your hypothetical signed-contract and collected-revenue amounts distinct. Choose gross or define net as the chosen figure minus entered base costs for this model. Unknown is not zero. The actual compensation definition may differ; record that uncertainty.
What is the formula?
Percentage model: base × your rate / 100. Fixed model: your entered fixed amount. Then modeled share = modeled gross × your share / 100; modeled amount after deduction = share − your deduction. Blank inputs stay unknown. Zero and100% must be entered explicitly.
When does the trigger occur?
Write your hypothetical trigger/timing terms and their source. A reported trigger does not establish earning, entitlement or payment. The arithmetic doesn't interpret employment terms, tax, payroll or wage law.
What does rounding change?
The app carries exact decimals through all stages. Choose display precision explicitly; halfway values round away from zero. Display-rounded stages do not feed later stages. Use one entered currency/unit throughout; no currency or conversion is assumed.
Use fictional figures for practice. Your definitions, source notes and doubts belong with the model. Negative results establish no clawback, allowed deduction or payment obligation. This tool does not read employer records or integrate with payroll/CRM.
Before comparing scenarios, identify the writing you are modeling and the unit used for every amount. Give each scenario a name that distinguishes its assumptions. A percentage without a defined base leaves the comparison incomplete; a fixed amount still needs its own recorded explanation.
Read the split, deduction and rounding choices together with the method. Changing one assumption creates a different scenario, even when the displayed result happens to match. Keep the source note with the model so the next reader can identify which definition was used.
The workbook preserves hypothetical arithmetic. It cannot determine when compensation becomes earned, payable or collectible. Export the complete record before moving desks, and keep any separately held agreement available for the people responsible for interpreting it.
Carry the next question.
